Quality
The major timber components of the Beamlock structure are manufactured from a joinery grade timber which is machined to +/- 1mm.
Timber treatment
The Beamlock timbers are planed to the highest joinery standards and need no extra preparation before painting or staining. Factory-applied preservative treatment gives compliance for Use Class 3.1 (once the manufacturers guidelines have been followed) thus the main frame can be exposed to the elements.
End Tension Plate
The attractive metal plate is fixed onto each unused face which reduces the longitudinal stresses in the timber, and is an essential technical component of the Beamlock System.
